Return & Exchange Policy
Democracy Homes return or exchange policy applies only if it meets the following conditions:
- If an incorrect product was delivered to you, i.e. the product does not match the item description mentioned on the website or wrong product is delivered.
- If the product you receive has a genuine quality or manufacturing defect or damage.
For any order cancellation, you need to notify us within 24 hours of order placing with an email to email@example.com
However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the shipment of the product has been initiated.
Damaged, Defective OR Incorrect Products:
Please do not accept the products if you find the package has been tampered / damage in transit, please handover the package back to the delivery person before signing the POD (Proof of Delivery).
In an unlikely situation, if you receive an incorrect or defective products, please send an email at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of delivery with the order number, product barcode, your full address and photographs of the products. The quality control team will evaluate and then initiate a replacement on the same. Please accept our apologize in advance for any issues you might face and look forward to helping you replace your products at the earliest.
We will arrange a reverse pick-up of the damaged/incorrect products and upon receiving the same will send you a replacement product. Please ensure the product is securely packed with tags on the products, and in unused and saleable condition. Please also attach the Original Invoice.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer return or exchange if receive request after 48 hours of the delivery.
If there is a genuine defect in the product, we'd be happy to exchange your product with a replacement or a different product of the same value or refund your order amount within 15 working days only after the product we have received the returned shipment.
Under certain circumstances, if we are unable to provide you with replacement against your ordered product, then we will notify you, and thereafter will process your refund, a credit of the paid amount will reflect in the original mode of payment within 15 business days.
Return or exchange will not be done of any product if it is not in the original packaging or if the product has been used, washed or damaged. The product should be in the same condition as it was delivered.
